I have a classroom library where I make a wide variety of books available to students for check-out. I make a diligent effort to have a well-rounded library, full of award winning novels for my students.
I also have a well stocked personal library at my home that I enjoy adding to. I read almost every evening either on my Kindle or from a typical bound book.

I am a High School English teacher in Pitsburg, Ohio. I have been teaching high school English for going on nine years.

Prior, I was an adjunct professor at Brevard Community College. In the fall of 2013 I welcomed my son into the world.

I enjoy reading a variety of genres. My personal favorite authors are Chuck Palahniuk, Hunter S. Thompson, and Sylvia Plath. For YA texts I prefer Ellen Hopkins, John Green, and Chris Crutcher.
