- Southern writers. Pat Conroy, Ron Rash, I tend to read family sagas. I love literary fiction. I am drawn to a great vocabulary and good use of language. I love good world building and a strong sense of place.

- I grew up in Memphis, and now live in Malibu, California with my husband and 3 German shepherds. I am the author of four novels and love exploring the family dynamic. Favorite authors are Pat Conroy, Donna Tartt, Ron Rash, and those realistic writers who write about the nuances of life. I prefer reading stories in the first person because of the seeming personal immediacy it affords.
