I've mainly been trying to round up all the books I loved dearly as a child, as a resource for when I someday have children of my own.

I've been reading and writing pretty much my whole life. I got hooked on meticulous world-building when I read Tolkien's Silmarillion, and I haven't looked back. It's so magical that the right squiggles in the right order become a portal to a thousand places that you'd rather be.
