I grew up with an actual library in my home, with walls of books of all sorts. When I was bored, I would read something, and pretty much worked my way through the whole library. I married a guy who loves books as much as I do, so we now have books tucked away in almost every room, and the makings of a pretty great library of our own. We love fiction most: fantasy, soft sci-fi, mystery, historical romance, and award-winning children's fiction. But we also have plenty of non-fiction, mostly religious or philosophical, or social commentary.

I love to garden, sew, cook, bake, and of course read and write. I have a Regency romance published, with a series planned, and a YA fantasy almost ready to publish. When I'm not doing that, I have 6 kids, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 9 chickens, a tortoise and a gecko to keep me busy. I also have a husband, who is awesome.
