- I have never taken a class on young adult literature. I have taken a workshop or two offered by the library system where I work. They were very informative and I found some great YA recommendations through them. I am a coordinator of our teen council here and that is part of the reason I try to keep up to date on youth literature. One of my favorite YA books is Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. It makes me literally laugh out loud. I really like Stephenie Meyer, Ann Brashares and Judy Blume as well. I do not have any children, so no YAs at my house!
