It once ran to over twelve thousand volumes. But what with our moving about the world and the consequent downsizing, what remains is in storage in Brazil and Miami. Perhaps no more than five hundred books, but the best of the best. Currently, I make use of libraries as never before and the paperbacks I buy are seldom kept - always passed on to someone who I believe will enjoy them.
