Over mij
I have catholic tastes, but, like a character from Dick Francis, when I like something I like a lot of it. Hence when I found Blyton as a child, John Wyndham as a boy, Francis as a man and Brookmyre as on old has-been, I devoured all their material. I wait now expectantly for each of Brookmyre's offerings though the last couple have been disappointing. I've had "...Rubber Ducks..." since the summer, but have yet to get started. I guess I'm going to take the same approach to Lewycka. I do most of my book reading on holiday and read the Pulman trilogy this year. Great stuff, and I admit I shed a tear or two at the end.
