I have loved books ever since that first reader was put in my hands at five years old and I was taught to read. I was even sharing my enthusiasm for reading back then and would read aloud to whoever would listen. Books are my favorite escape from a hectic reality, and a good book can take you anywhere you are willing to go. Although I love the paranormal, grit lit, chick lit, new adult, young adult, mystery, thriller, and the list goes on, contemporary romance is my genre du jour. I fall in love with my romantic heroes…until the next hero comes along, then I get an automatic do over. Where else can that happen other than in a book? I love the excitement of mystery, the laugh out loud humor, the edge of my seat angst, and the tears of heartbreak.
