Over mijn bibliotheek

I don't like to re-read books that I've already finished, so I don't feel the need to hold onto them after I have read them. I like to buy my books secondhand, or borrow them from friends and family, and pass them on when I am done. Most of the books that I've read recently have been from my sister's library. My taste in books can range from mystery to chick lit. Mostly, I enjoy reading about ordinary people in "effed up" circumstances. Crazy relatives, some kind of horrible tragedy, mental illness, family secrets, etc., and how these things affect the people, their lives, and how they deal with things. Those are the books I enjoy most.

I also have a horrible need to finish any book I start, no matter how badly I think it sucks, which is why I finished reading the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series, and ended up loving it. I'm glad I stuck with it.

Over mij

I've always loved to read. Now I tend to go in spurts, but I try to read as often as possible. My kids participated in an "I Read 100 Books" program each year in elementary school, so I'm trying to keep up with that goal. I'm also a crochet designer, and my crochet patterns can be found in various places online, including etsy, artfire and ravelry.
