I am a native Tuscaloosan who has served in the U.S. Navy Reserve, graduated from Princeton University, and has made a living as a sailor, salesman, underwriter, account executive, accountant, systems administrator, information specialist, and, currently, professional writer. Prior to returning to Tuscaloosa in 1989, I lived in Florida, the Panama Canal Zone, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Georgia.

I have published three books in the Needed Killing Series and am working on the fourth. I credit the tornado of April 27, 2011, with giving me the impetus to start writing professionally and my wife with the support, encouragement, and editing to be successful.
