It is a sad story. Between my husband & I we had thousands of books. I've never thrown away a book in my life although I did pass on some duplicates. I had schoolbooks going back to grade school! Unfortunately, our house burned to the ground with everything, including the library, four years ago. Since then, I've started rebuilding, but many of those books will never be replaced.
