Over mijn bibliotheek
I welcome suggestions of books available on audio or that are fun to read aloud (with my husband).

My ratings mean:

***** I love it and would probably reread it many times. I probably have at least one copy and may have given away copies.

**** I found it worthwhile and might reread it once or twice.

*** I enjoyed reading it once but would not necessarily keep it or recommend it.

** I didn't finish it (or wish I hadn't taken the time to finish it).

* I found it impenetrable or insipid.

.5 * I found it offensive (e.g., too violent and/or misogynistic). I never want to read another book like that.

Some of my all-time favorite books are:
- He, She and It by Marge Piercy
- The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson
- The Prince and the Pauper (and other comedies/satires) by Mark Twain

Some recent favorites are:
- A Civil Campaign by Lois McMaster Bujold
