Eclectic is perhaps the best term. It has grown over the years with my interests, which include in no set order small boat design and building, music, telescope making, dialing, philosophy, painting, cooking, gardening, photography, bridge and literature.

Like you, I'm not easy to define in a few words.

Bare-bone facts include: married, retired chemist/Q.A. Director. Classical education. Graduate studies in chemistry, business and education. Write articles (photography, philately, etc.), essays and poetry. Veteran. Enjoy good food, wine, tea and conversation. World view best summed as 'secular humanist'. I try to 'live in a house by the side of the road and be a friend to man.'
