This is a book about a little girl that dresses like a lady bug and goes on adventures. This adventure, in particular, she went on a camping trip with her parents and she adventures around the woods with her dog Bingo. This book is a good demonstration of realistic fiction that demonstrates a good connection between imagery and the illustrations that are present. ( )

Ladybug Girl's family goes camping. Even her dog Bingo comes along. Bingo is to stay leashed, but sometimes, Ladybug Girl can't quite keep him under control. It's a good story with lovely illustrations. ( )

What a fun book! Following along with Ladybug Girl's adventures made me want to go on adventures of my own and I am sure it would have the same effect in children. With her trusty sidekick nby her side, Ladybug Girl could conquer anything. ( )

Lulu and her dog Bingo the basset hound are best friends. Whenever they play outside, Bingo always stays close by Lulu’s side. When they go camping for the first time, Lulu does her best to be responsible and hold tight to Bingo’s leash. But what happens when Bingo wants to explore the forest on his own and runs off? This is a job for Ladybug Girl! She will find Bingo in time for toasting marshmallows at the campfire.

Somehow this didn't enchant me to quite the degree the first did, but I still loved it. Adorable dog, brave and imaginative girl, loving family. I especially melted at the very end, when we meet Firefly Girl. ( )

The creators of the New York Times bestselling Ladybug Girl series bring us yet another charming adventure. Lulu, as Ladybug Girl, explores nature with her dog, Bingo, during a family camping trip. As the two pals are making imaginative discoveries, Bingo escapes into the woods. Ladybug Girl finds him, gets lost for a moment herself, and then safely takes him back to the campsite. This is a perfect book for Kindergarten through second grade classrooms because it is imaginative and demonstrates how a child can act responsibly. The ink and watercolor illustrations are amazing and depict the special relationship between a little girl and her dog. This is sure to be a favorite in classrooms across America. ( )
