Aaargh, aargh, arrgh.
I think Fun Home is an incredible book. I rated it five stars. It's not fiction, and doesn't belong here, but I don't want to give it a thumbs-down that will be misconstrued. Aaargh, aargh, arrgh. We really need list comments.

Yeah, when I started that list, it was partly for recommendations for myself, because I'm so frustrated at not knowing what's good vs what's well-known, and added a few books that I saw at the top of related tags pages to see what people think (up or down, yeah?), plus ones I remembered reading and liking in the past, even if they don't really work for me now.
That was one I stuck on there for such a reason, not even thinking about the fact that it's a memoir. If I could, I'd change the subject to "fiction (and narrative nonfiction)", probably. But at the same time, I think memoirs fall in a hazy category. I call them "based on a true story" in my catalogue, because I think the best memoirs exaggerate the truth or downplay other bits, in order to create a better narrative, and when that happens, they get a bit fictional.

2: Since you started the list, you can change the title. On the right side box of lists you started is an option to edit, which let's you change the title.

6> Yeah, there are a few lists where I see a book that I think is really good, but isn't such a good fit for the list. Or the other way around.
Even this specific list (lesbian fiction), I think Ash is a great fit and worth including, even if the book itself is kind of flawed and not so great. (And mostly because I love that various sexualities are accepted as a matter of course, and all kinds can co-exist.)
