Does someone know which edition(s) of the Annotated Lolita have the annotations *inline* with the text rather than at the end?

The most popular and available versions seem to have these at the end which is useless for me. I know some of the earlier editions will have them inline but can't seem to find out which ones. (Most of the sellers seem to have them in warehouses and can't tell you anything about them.)

An insights would be most appreciated.

Reviving . . .

I don't know of any. I think you just have to be a geek and use two bookmarks. ;) Just read chapter to chapter or annotation to annotation or page to page, etc., and deal with the interruptions and stiltedness.

Sorry, I don't know your particular situation and why anything but footnotes is useless for you, but you could always make a photocopy of the notes section for easier referral.
