Bought Songlines & Consumer Reports mags today, so I what-the-hell bought a book, too: The Girls Who Fought Crime: The Untold True Story of the Country's First Female Investigator and Crime-Fighting Squads by Mari K. Eder.

Another FoL sale. I picked up Catilina’s Riddle, Basic Witches, Arms of Nemesis, and Drawing the Line: Tales of Maps.

I’m going to start volunteering for the FoL so I expect the temptation will be more than I can bear.

>5 varielle: I have the same problem *working* at a bookstore. I'm way better at resisting buying books than I used to be. (I used to spend $100/week -- AFTER my discount.) Still a long way to go resisting ARCs.

Unfortunately my willpower failed while shelving in the Mystery section and I bought the last copy of a book: The Mystery of Henri Pick by David Foenkinos.
