Bought Songlines & Consumer Reports mags today, so I what-the-hell bought a book, too: The Girls Who Fought Crime: The Untold True Story of the Country's First Female Investigator and Crime-Fighting Squads by Mari K. Eder.

I went to the local book exchange and traded in Bobos in Paradise for Mr. Penumbra’s 24 hour Bookstore.

Another ARC: North Woods by Daniel Mason (pub 9/23; historical fiction).

Another FoL sale. I picked up Catilina’s Riddle, Basic Witches, Arms of Nemesis, and Drawing the Line: Tales of Maps.

I’m going to start volunteering for the FoL so I expect the temptation will be more than I can bear.
