I have very old books, with no barcodes and in different languages. I just want to take a pic of the cover and add myself the description. How do I do this with Librarything?
Thank you.

There are multiple ways to do this. One is to see if there's a library source that has your edition - use title, author, and either the date of your edition or the publisher in the Add Books source. Academic libraries for the country where the book was published would be a good place to try for this.
The other is to use the manual addition option - here you need to enter everything yourself, but it may be faster than hunting around for a source. You can enter as much or as little information as you want with this option - only title is a firm requirement.
Once you have a book in your catalog you can take a picture of the cover and then upload it through the "Change Cover" option.
