... because he accidentally killed someone, I cannot remember the title or the author but it was in some book of short stories. Can't remember; please help with both my questions.

A Gentleman in Moscow is about a guy holed up in a hotel room. It is written by Amor Towles. I don't think he accidentally killed someone though? He is a Russian aristocrat under house arrest.
