Any thoughts on what the disappearance of the circus could mean?

The disappearance of the circus meant the refugees had no place to go to feel safe from the evil.

Was it really there, a source of good to combat the evil or was there just Madam Jasmine with this novel only the Shadow Knows.

Is the circus a bit like Brigadoon? Only showing up for a limited time, every so often?
Or, maybe the council just moved them on, 😉.

>4 Sergeirocks: Great thought, Brigadoon and a great musical. Eadie and I saw it at a fantastic venue, The Goodspeed Opera House East Haddon Connecticut, going back a few years.

>6 Sergeirocks: have the movie on disc and still watch it. Lerner (lyrics) Loewe (music) created great magical shows along with Brigadoon, Camelot and My Fair Lady Gigi and others.

Loved Brigadoon. I was in the musical in high school. My drama department did a weeklong performance. funny... the movie people never called me:)

>12 Carol420: The elegant and sophisticated New York Lady. I wore kilts at our youngest daughter’s wedding. They had to send to Galway for the tartan material. Irish tartans are by county whereas Scotch tartans are by clan.

>13 JohnDBurke: It was funny because I grew up in the south and didn't begin to know how to present a New Yok accent. Of souse neither did any of my fellow "stars of the show". My Grandmother was from Ireland...County Tyrone. She brought her grandfather's kilts to the U.S. when she and my Scottish Grandfather made that journey with my mother who was a year old, and her 3-year-old sister in 1926. Gramps wore his kilts every opportunity that he found, which wasn't often in Florida...but he wore them at home because he knew how fascinated I was with the culture. We attend the Scottish Festival held in Alma, Michigan, which is coming up next weekend. I always think about how my Gramps would have loved it.
