Any initial thoughts what attacked Tony in McKenzie’s apartment? How did this marry up with previous events in the book?

I think it was some type of beast (Begbie) that attacked Tony much like the one that killed the girls and Jennings.

It was the djinn, Begbie.

It all seems to come back to Begbie whoever or whatever she is.

I thought it would be Begbie/the djinn.
It seemed to make sense that the djinn would be on the hunt for Nala again - checking out any places Rahel might seek out help and a hiding place.
