I hope so! I'm going to have to rely on recommendations here for some of the provinces.

Welcome! There are some great suggestions on the threads for the individual provinces. It's hard to choose just one title for several of them. I'm thinking about repeating the challenge after I finish. I'm not sure I want to try to find another book for Nunavut, though!

Ontario: Mable Riley by Marthe Jocelyn

Mable accompanies her sister to her new little town to start her first job as a schoolteacher in 1901. Mable will be a student and an assistant. Life in the little town is about to get more interesting! Mable's diary reveals her thoughts on leaving home, on making new friends, on her relationship with her bossy big sister, her beginnings at romance, and her budding interest in women's rights. Lots of fun and easy to read.

Glad to see you here for this challenge! I'd read a couple of Marthe Jocelyn's books recently and enjoyed them. Will have to look out for this one.

Quebec: The Search for Joyful by Benedict and Nancy Freedman
