Army Captain Ty "Wolf" Wolfson is back in the States from Iraq to fulfill a promise made to a dying soldier/friend. Wolf is to make sure that his friend's sister, Hailey, doesn't go to the Middle East for her missionary work because it is too dangerous. After Wolf and Hailey spend some time together they find themselves falling in love. Wolf feels that he doesn't have much to offer Hailey. He is suffering from survivor's guilt, and he blames himself for the deaths of his fellow soldiers.

I really liked Wolf and Hailey. I thought their friend and pastor, J.T., seemed like an interesting character, and I would've liked to have learned more about him. The Savannah, Georgia, setting was nice. And I really enjoyed the skydiving scene. Very heartwarming and engaging story. ( )
