Theater Works full cast recording, the 3rd play in their "The Moliére Collection". ( ) Having read [b:The School for Wives / The Learned Ladies|99469|The School for Wives / The Learned Ladies|Molière|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1382942332s/99469.jpg|52026652] I figured it was only fair to read the other. Much is lost in translation with Moliere. But some of the humor still remains. He definitely had it in for older men. Standard Moliere, with the usual stock characters. A man plans to wed his ward; she has other plans, as she has fallen in love with a man she has only seen. The man has been following her, wanting a chance to get to know her. The guardian keeps her locked up, going out only with him, so their plans are thwarted, until they decide to make their move and outwith him. Enjoyable, a bit silly, with a heavy dose of the usual Moliere mockery.
