This book was very cute and creative. The language of this book rhymed. I liked this because it helped children read more fluently and children learn concepts of rhyming. For example, the author wrote, “Up, up, up, up, in a balloon. Up so high I can touch the moon.” Children can find the words that rhyme in each sentence. The illustrations were beautifully drawn. The illustrator used a lot of details to help capture what the author is trying to say. For example, the illustrator drew all of the things a person would see in the sky if a person could fly. This book also had the version where it could be sung. This was a good aspect because music teachers can incorporate literature in their music classes by using this book. The big idea or message of this story was showing children to use their imagination. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
