Identity Crisis is a refreshing chapter of the Destroyer saga that eschews the regular international intrigue for local matter that strikes closer to home: Cure finds itself in a disastrous crossfire as a plot hatched by the now-defunct Friend has the DEA and the IRS battling each other for the rights to plunder Folcroft Sanitarium. Complicating matters further are a pile of gold in the basement belonging to Chiun, Remo's quest to discover who is real parents are, and some past enemies turned Folcroft inmates who decide to take advantage of the confusion in order to escape and exact their vengeance. And where the hell is that drumming noise coming from? As the Destroyer series reached triple digits, it began churning out more entries like this, focusing more on past characters and plots than current ones, which just goes to show that there are only so many times you can save the world from the brink of total chaos and/or complete annihilation. As always, the humor is good and the violence better, even if half of the cast is rehashed. Also, loved the bunny outfit. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
