The title of this book is what caught my eye, and what child wouldn’t want to know the answer to this question. Although this book doesn’t just tell the reader about why dogs bark but it also goes in to detail on other things you might want to know about dogs. This would be a great reference book for someone doing a paper on dogs. ( )

This book is basically approached like a FAQ for children. It's filled with questions kids probably ask their parents all the time and the answers are presented in easy to understand formats. It moves from general questions such as "Why do dogs bury bones" to mentioning specific "hero" dogs like Balto and Barry the Saint Bernard. ( )
