( ) It had my interest up to the point it became a job search manual. I'm in a transitional period of my career and I believe I've found what I love to do as the book suggests. Coincidently, it happens to be in the career I had when I came out of college 15 years ago. I feel like I've come full circle in my career but the difference is I'm a business owner instead of an employee. The book had some great nuggets in it but when it focused on finding a "job" I started losing interest. I skimmed forward until it came back to the entrepreneurial advice. I gave this 3 stars, not terrible but took me off course a little. For the truest review I guess I'll have to put the plan into action and see if I've gotten results in 48 days. But for now, the book was mostly a positive and inspirational guide to deciding what you want to do and how to go about getting the job you want. I did find some of the statistics Miller sited to be a bit dubious. The essence of the book was simply this: Don't just sit around wishing you were happy with your career. Do something about it. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
