This book has the purpose of helping children when it comes to potty training. It shows all the different animals using the potty to try and encourage the readers.

We read "The Big Potty Book", the board book version of this book. Simply book about everyone going potty. If read with different voice you can get some pretty good laughs... After all there are some big bottoms on some tiny potties. If you can't laugh about bodily functions.... Well then you are just reading a book about pee and poop. ( )

In this book, the author uses animals to show that not everyone has the same bottom, but everyone needs a potty. A zebra, a pig, a giraffe, and a elephant all need a potty. A puppy, a hen, a mouse, and frog need a potty too. This is a good book to read to a young child who is in the process of learning to potty train. Some kids are scared of the potty, but after seeing everyone, even animals, use the potty they may come around and try it out. I would recommend this book to toddlers, 2 and older. ( )

read this to my nephew to try and help with potty training! It didn't work, but he loved the book!
