Love the drama, too much review though. ( )

In The Sweet Life: Too Many Doubts book three, Bruce Patman is losing it. Elizabeth has left him. Liz was suppose to have Bruce's back. Bruce can not just sit around and do nothing. He hires a private investigator to find the intern. The private investigator tracks down Robin. Bruce decides to confront Robin himself. This can only be bad news for Bruce.

Meanwhile, Sarah may have been fired from the Tribune due to Jessica but Sarah is finding confort in the arms of Todd. Jessica and Todd may have split but that does not mean that Jessica can not have some fun of her own. She and Liam are getting cozy. Liam is every woman's dream, so why can't Jessica stop thinking about Todd.

In this book, Lila is winning me over. Although, she is still spoiled, her estranged husband, Ken is showing Lila that he will not take any bull from Lila. Classic line by Lila "Are you kidding? All of life is high-school " This line when Jessica and Lila are talking about Lila's fake pregnancy.

While I did like seeing Steven Wakefield and his partner, Aaron and their daughter, Emma. I felt like their story did not fit with the rest of the story line and was just more of a side note. I am getting more invested in the characters story lines. I hope that Bruce finds the truth. I believe that Bruce is innocent and saddened that Elizabeth can not see this. Jessica may be up to her old tricks but she and Liam do not belong together. Lila will be found out about her fake pregnancy. ( )

One thing to keep in mind when reading these "Sweet Life" e-serial installments is that they combine to make one full length novel which will be released later this year. Therefore I tried not to be too disappointed with this installment since it just moves the story along a little bit. There are no earth shattering revelations or anything like that but if you are in this for the entirety of the six installments this is a must read.

Bruce has been a favorite of mine since he won over my eleven year old heart with his cocky grin, sarcastic and snotty personality, and his 1Bruce1 license plate. When we occasionally saw the softer side of Bruce, I only became more enticed by him. You might say Bruce was my very first book boyfriend. I still like Bruce. Even though I think maybe his personality is a little too tamed in this new generation. I am completely on Bruce's side in this sexual assault case. I admit things don't look so good but Bruce is so hot, he doesn't have to use illegal and disgusting behavior to get a girl. I will point out that Elizabeth is definitely back to being the Elizabeth from her days of being perpetually sixteen. She would have totally made a mess of things in just this exact way back in the good old days. I always related to Elizabeth but she can really be an idiot.

Jessica's story involving her broken relationship with Todd just becomes more damaged in this installment. I enjoyed another brief glimpse of her son though. Lila is up to no good and I am afraid her games are going to devastate Ken Matthews. Annie Whitman takes a more involved role in Bruce's legal battle.

There is a new storyline in Too Many Doubts. Steven and Aaron hire a nanny to take care of their baby daughter. In the 80's this plot would have been written as a Super Thriller. Emma is kidnapped when the nanny takes her to the park. It was an exciting diversion from the Bruce plot except it was resolved way too quickly and neatly. It would have been nice to see it beefed up a little bit.

However I stand behind my earlier reviews of Part One and Part Two. This is a much more authentic return to Sweet Valley. ( )

And the drama continues!
This is kind of like crack- you just can't put it down. These people are so.... full of it? Jessica would be better off hanging out with her son instead of jumping from guy to guy looking for the eternal quick fix. (ie: if I quit my job that I love, Todd will come home. I feel horrible about Todd, maybe Liam adoring me will cheer me up.)
I wonder why Todd hasn't checked into Sarah's background yet? If Elizabeth could find her evil doings quickly, then surely Todd could too. And Elizabeth- she should have told Todd that she checked out Jessica's curiousity about Sarah.
Although, Lila is still the most annoying character. (I always thought she was ever since I started reading the Sweet Valley Twins books as a kid.) there's spoiled and then there's Lila. All her scheming will not work for her- I see it now.
I do want to see what comes of Bruce's situation though. ( )
