Great personal account of his conversion and life in the early LDS Church. I read it twice and this date is for the second time. Not sure when I first read it, but it may have been '77, right after mission. ( )

Parley P. Pratt is hilarious. Not only that but he is very adept at explaining the process of his mind. He mentions that he reads constantly and it shows. The only thing I didn't like was the abrupt ending. There was no final word on what happened to those poor children left in the south away from their mother. I look forward to inviting him over for lunch sometime in the distant future. :) ( )
