Her most cherished memories are of her beloved grandmother, who loved her and taught her to make handcrafted-soaps and lotions. Savannah is now planning to support herself by selling these crafts at her own shop in Eternity Springs. She recently there and is excited about the future -- until she meets the local sheriff. Savannah had a really bad experience with law enforcement and just doesn't trust anyone who is connected with the law.I won this book from a give-away in exchange for providing an honest review of the book. I found the characters well-developed and interesting. Even though the storyline was predictable and a little thin, it was an entertaining read for a rainy afternoon or a day at the beach. If the plot had been better developed, I would have given a higher rating. Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. I enjoyed this book. If the next book was out right now, I'd probably go read that one. The author does a good job at getting you interested in the characters of the next book. You don't need to have read the previous books in the series though to follow everything, they seem to be independent. I did feel like it was too quaint at times, which was weird to me when contrasted with the sexual content. The Celeste character definitely got on my nerves, and I'd hoped for more story dedicated to delving into Savannah's past and getting the bad guy than was there. It barely skimmed the surface on several things in the plot. I did think it was totally ridiculous that Savannah had just moved from Georgia. Surely the author could have picked a different name. Emily is new to Writer’s Corner.Synopsis: The town of Eternity Springs includes some married couples with one very single sheriff. This sheriff needs a mate. Zach Turner the Sheriff hears about a new resident Savannah Sophie Moore. She is opening a bath store with special scents something like Bath and Body works. Savannah makes friends easily in the town but can she accept the town matriarch Celeste Blessing? She brings reminders of Savannah’s past which she would like to forget. When Zach figures out who she is will this affect their relationship? My Thoughts: Emily March is a new writer to me. I am so glad to share this writer’s that are new to me. She is a romance writer and this is a contemporary romance which means that it includes all the things you would expect in a romance novel. So why then did I love it? I came into the middle of the series so I am definitely interested in reading more. The story of a woman with a past and how will that affect the future? I was always wondering what would happen next? Would Zach truly accept her? Could Savannah get over her past? I found myself wanting to read more at the end of each day. The story has so many dimensions. I love characters like Celeste Blessing who are the wise beyond their years. Zach and Savannah are characters are that I can identify with. I would love to live in a town like Eternity Springs.
This book wasnt what I thought it would be. A girl was locked up for a crime she didnt commit. She ends up falling for a sheriff. Although the man knows she's trouble he feels there's something there. and in the end he fights for everything he has for a love he cant afford to lose. Onderdeel van de reeks(en)Eternity Springs (6)
"Savannah Moore arrives in Eternity Springs alone, determined to put her troubled past behind her. Her handcrafted-soap shop fits right in with the magic of this warm and welcoming community--but the sexy, suspicious local sheriff promises to upset her hard-won happiness. Zach Turner knows this woman means trouble: Maybe to his town. Possibly to his friends. Definitely to his heart. Something about this simmering Southern beauty does crazy things to his committed bachelor status, taunting him with possibilities far beyond his dedication to his sometimes dangerous job. So when Savannah's dark past follows her to town, wreaking havoc with both their lives, Zach will fight for all he's worth--for a love he can't afford to lose."--P. [4] of cover. this novel was very hard to put down. But if you haven't read any of the other Eternity Springs books, read them first. Even though this book could stand alone, it will mean more to you if you have read the others.
