This is a series I've loved from the beginning, and I was incredibly excited to read the next part of the story. Nara and Ethan are one of my favorite couples, and their story is utterly enthralling. The use of ravens throughout the story is fascinating, and a theme I've truly enjoyed.

The energy and danger in this book constantly left my stomach in knots! I found myself having to take breaks reading, just to shake out my frazzled nerves. The emotional suspense is wonderful and awful all at the same time, as it is with any great romance story. This story isn't all romance though- the mystery and danger that surround all the characters is addicting and fantastic, and had me nail-biting in worry several times.

The new characters introduced left me guessing about their intentions the whole book. It was a constant yo-yo between wanting to believe they're helping, but thinking they may be dangerous. Throughout the story, all I could think was “Come on, just talk to each other! Fix this stuff, it's silly!” which just made it a book I couldn't stop reading or thinking about for very long. The main characters have all grown so much, and changed completely from where they were in the last book.

Overall, this book has me even more hooked into this series. I loved it, and will read it plenty of times in the future. I'm so glad there's another book after this one, because I'm not ready to be done with this story yet! I would recommend this book to any fan of the series, and anyone who thinks it may be interesting (I'd read the first two though, it's a series you need to stick with to fully appreciate).

*I was given an eCopy of this book, from the author, to read in exchange for an honest review. ( )

I've mentioned before that I really enjoy this paranormal YA series, and its first two books A Brightest Kind of Darkness and Lucid were certainly fantastic. However, I felt like in this particular installment the plot went woolgathering.

There were a lot of messy developments, a case of Ethan's split personality and a new spin on Corvus legend, and I thought that even Nara whose sensibility I absolutely adore was running hot and cold way too many times. Without getting into any big spoilers, I did not like how conveniently Drystan faded into background. Personally I loved that boy in Lucid and he deserved a much better presence in Destiny.

Still, that wonderful chemistry between Nara and Ethan did not get buried under all the drama, and this was what made Destiny an enjoyable read no matter what. I am slightly disappointed but still loving the series as whole. Recommended. ( )

Initially, when I got this book, I thought that this story was the last book in the series. And then the end came. It’s wasn’t wrapping up. My heart just raced even more as I closed in to the end. And man oh man. When I was done, I could not believe it.

Plot: Never fear. This plot is so freaking awesome! It is successful in it predecessor never wavering in the plot, drawing the reader so close you can feel fate watching you…waiting…. I don’t know how else to describe other that this book swept me off my feet.

Love: Even though things get rocky, this is the part that kept me tied down to the book the most. It’s literally a tug-o-war with couple. So many elements and people are against them. When I read parts of them getting closer only to get separated again…GEEZE! I wanted to pull my hair out. It nevertheless, only made me stay deep into the book, paying close attention to details. Because despite the couple drama, I just knew there is something bigger at play.

Ending: The ending is damn near perfect. I mean, WOW. I finished the book close to almost 2AM and couldn’t even sleep. My mind was running, I wanted to rant, but most of all, I couldn’t not wrap my head around that plot. It was pure genius.

This series is seriously explosive. Each book is better than the last. The characters grow nicely and the plot thickens to something that you won’t even expect nor imagine. A ripping adventure that is sure to knock you off your feet, Destiny is amazing! ( )
