Here are a series of beautiful and fascinating photographs depicting the properties of water as it evaporates, splashes, condenses and bubbles. This book is certainly for the tween crowd, but the writing is descriptive and interesting, sneaking the facts in subtly. The glossary in the back of water related terms helps give clarity to the concepts. ( ) A book about the properties of water, illustrated with amazing magnified and mid-action photos that explain and enhance the text information. In the back is an Observations and Experiments section that talks about how to experiment with and recreate many things shown in the book. Beautiful, interesting and engaging. I liked this book for many reasons. I liked how the author provides pictures for each subtopic. This book provided facts about water and the different forms of it. It also provides information about the water cycle. i also like how the language and vocabulary is not very difficult so younger readers will be understand the complex ideas about science and water. i also liked how in the back of the book the author provides a deeper description about each of the subtopics discussed in the book. Overall this book would be a great resource in a science classroom to allow students a better understanding of water and its qualities. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
