Each One is Better than the Last I just love this series. I gulped down the first three in a couple of days. Law uses the Bible to base his premise for the story of these three siblings who have supernatural powers to fight demons in spiritual warfare. The siblings use Bible verses to give them strength and increase their powers. They pray to find answers to their questions. However, the final problem is one that leaves the reader hanging and one that many children have to learn to deal with, that of the loss of a parent. If the readers are into the story, they will have to deal with the emotions of the sibling’s loss as well. Definitely put this series on the list of books you want your children to read if they are lovers of fantasy and the fight of good vs. evil. As a parent, you will probably enjoy it, too. Will Jonah's faith in Elohim continue to persevere as he fights Abaddon in his hardest battle yet?"-- Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |

Summary: Jonah, Eliza, and Jeremiah Stone are not ordinary children. They are what are called quarterlings. Quartelings are one-quarter angel and have special powers that help them in the battle against the fallen and most of all, their leader Abaddon A.K.A Satin. Jonah, Eliza, and Jeremiah are not alone though, their others like them. All of the quarterlings go to a special school where they are instructed by angles on how to better use their angelic abilities and how to improve their spiritual powers as well. Finally, when the time comes for the midterm exams the angles set up a course to test all of their abilities. But during the exam Jonah meets someone he wasn’t expecting to see, and because of that meeting something terrible happens.
Review: Shadow chaser was a very good book. I really like how there is finally a good Christian action series that teaches the bible but makes is seem like it is just part of the story. The author also does a good job of making you want to read to the very end of the book. One thing I don’t like is how the book ended. I can see why the author ended the book how he did but I don’t really like it. I would recommend this book to any Christians who like action and adventure books. Overall, this book was a good book and was fun to read. (
