The short stories didn't grab me as much as the longer arcs of previous volumes. They touched on interesting ideas, but most weren't long enough for me to invest much. I liked the first one, with one of the series' ultra cool recurring characters, the most. (

With virtually no text, this graphic novel/comic series tells tales of vampires as if in films, or perhaps this is their history.

The illustrations are artistic and heavily detailed which adds to character development, story, and scene development.

As there is no dialogue and virtually no text, it is highly intriguing, yet an effective, narrative told through this series of pictures/illustrations.

Overall, an intriguing read. (
