Some of the dialogue seemed a little forced and other parts of the story were a bit rushed. I liked the book for what it was and I considered reading the sequels to see where the stories go. It was an imaginative story line and world that she created for each of the character types. ( ) This book was pretty interesting. Two teens living in a Compound in post-apocalyptic New York are trained in combat - along with the other girls in the building. When they reach eighteen, they will be sent to live in the streets. Alledgedly. Abby and Lucy find out that the trainer turns them over to the bad guys at "graduation". Abby is a lot more than she seems and doesn't even know it. She has a friend "Quarn" who seems to be her protector but why? She isn't anything to protect. Then all hell breaks loose and Abby finds she may be worth the time. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
