I'm still super excited to be reading the original issues that started it all. I'm loving the introductions of some of my favorite characters from the show and movies. This volume was just as gritty and funny and the last one. It included several special mini issue one shots that focused only on a particular character/turtle and included a string of comics that show where parts of the live action movie story line came from which I was actually super excited to read. Each of the writers still talks about what they remember from when the books were being written and towards the end they discussed how things started to get difficult and in some ways Peter Laird almost still seems a little bit bitter. They also still include the great commentary about where lines, illustration ideas, etc came from. I don't know if I didn't notice it last time or what but the notes on the issues include original page numbers and the book only includes this books page numbers. I had a tough time trying to match up pages sometimes but over all still love all the behind the scenes info (even if it isn't all quite so happy this time) and I still love reading the stories.
