As usual, a BRILLIANT adventure!

like with all her previous books in this series, this too had a ton of adrenaline packed intrigue. Many twists and turns, both with romance and the case. just when you think you have it figured out, a new piece comes into play. In my opinion the writing was great. I couldn't put the book down, and I greedily read pAge after page. I thoroughly enjoyed Wendy's little boy, and his interactions with Joe were priceless. An enjoyable read all around. I look forward to future stories within Broslin Creek. ( )

From the splash of the opening scene you’re taken on a ride of multiple plots in this latest in the Broslin Creek series. I think the author must love the challenge of not just writing two suspenseful plots in one book but adds a third to keep you on your reading toes throughout the book. She does such a fabulous job of making these things all look like they have nothing in common and leaves you wondering where on earth she is going with things but never fear by the end she pulls all those plot points together.

Joe Kessler is a police officer with Broslin PD but lately has been doing undercover work in the next county trying to bring down rival gangs. When he’s nearly killed and injured he’s given some time off. But a couple of things interfere with that. One is an old friend is found murdered.

Wendy Belle is in an abusive relationship with the father of her young son. When her friend Sophie Curtis (from Deathrap) shows up right as things are escalating again she agrees to go with Sophie back to Broslin. Wendy and Joe had a one night stand three months ago and haven’t seen each other since so when Joe is assigned to watch her these two have a lot to work out all while trying to keep Wendy safe from her ex, figure out who murdered Joe’s friend and try and stop a gang war from happening.

I appreciated that the author chose to write Wendy in all the stages of an abused woman. First in denial but clearly having the classic self image issues and thinking she deserved or must have done something to provoke the abuse to realizing she needed to make big changes in her life and figure out who she was and what she wanted to be.

I can't get enough of this series! I love the romance of the stories, and all of the action and suspense! This is Joe and Wendy's story. It's a good one! ( )

DEATHBLOW by Dana Marton is another heart-pumping Romantic Suspense. #4 in the "Broslin Creek" series, but can be read as a stand alone. Action packed from beginning to end. A must read for any Romantic Suspense fan.

Meet, Joe Kessler, Broslin's hometown hero and Sexy police Officer and Wendy Belle, super model hiding out in Broslin Creek, PA. Together,they make an awesome couple.

With a dirty cop, an abusive ex-boyfriend, danger, suspense and mystery, you can't go wrong. Oh, did I forget to mention passion! Well let me tell you, there is nothing wrong with the way Ms. Marton has written a story with just the right amount of mystery, romance, passion and suspense. Heart stopping action and danger! Romantic Suspense fans are sure to enjoy "Deathblow". Ms. Marton writes with passion and true grit with her engaging and believable characters and her intriguing storyline. You can't go wrong with "Deathblow". Not just another hit for this amazing author but another grand slam.

A must read Romantic Suspense with romance, love and adventure!

I have read several books by Dana Marton now and I always enjoy her work. She has a talent for keeping me on the edge of my seat while I am reading. I enjoy a nice romantic story with some great suspense included.

Deathblow starts with an extremely dramatic and suspense filled scene that caught my attention right away. The rest of the book was just as thrilling and kept me completely captivated.

Joe Kessler is one of those guys that I know I would want on my side if I was in trouble. He's brave, smart, and handsome as sin. He has a very dangerous undercover job and finds himself in many life threatening situations in this book.

Wendy Belle has found herself in a horrible relationship. She is a mother of a little boy and she will do what she has to in order to protect her son. She is use to taking a lot of abuse and doesn't have a lot of trust for anyone. She does have a few friends that she does trust and they step up to help her. She is almost afraid to accept the help for fear of what her jerk of a ex-boyfriend will do to her when he finds out that she has told someone about the situations.

Joe helps to watch over Wendy and her son. There is an attraction between these two right away, however Wendy has trust issues and isn't sure she should let Joe in her life. I really enjoyed how Joe interacted with Wendy's son. He shows Wendy how much a real father figure could mean to her son's life. Joe might be a strong tough guy but he has a heart of gold and it is a big teddy bear when it comes to the people he loves.

This is an incredibly captivating story that has a LOT of twist and turns that I did not expect at all. Overall this is a wonderful suspenseful romance that I really enjoyed reading.
I really enjoyed reading Joe and Wendy's story. It was certainly an emotional read as well as a suspenseful one.

I can not wait to see what Ms. Marton has in store for us lucky readers next. So far everything I have read by her has been wonderful. If you are looking for a romantic story that is going to keep you are on the edge of your seat as well I think you should check out Ms. Marton's work.
