New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack follows up her trio of hits--Losing It, Faking It, and Finding It--with this thrilling first novel in an explosive series bursting with the Texas flavor, edge, and steamy romance of Friday Night Lights. In Texas, two things are cherished above all else--football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both. Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past. But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn't bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball... as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again. Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated. Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter. And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.… (meer)

Like all of her books, this was great! But, it was over too soon! I couldn't believe I was at the Epilogue already. If you liked her other books, you like this one too. And if you haven't read her other ones, go read them as well! ( )

Love this book, and Love this series. IMO Cora Carmack can write the phone book, and it would be a best seller. She has a way of making you feel what her characters feel. Dallas and Carson, never should have been, yet you are drawn into their story, and you get all the feels from it. This whole series is great, and it is a must read in my opinion. ( )

I love sport romances, and have been in the mood to grab for some. All Lined Up was perfect. It was a quick, cute, and fun read. I loved how it involved Football and dance. I absolutely loved Carson! This was well worth the $1 I found it for as I ended up reading it in one sitting. I really want to find some of the other books in the series. ( )

Definitely one of the better New Adult books I've read! I really enjoyed this one. There was better communication between characters and a lot less unnecessary drama! It was a really great quick read. ( )

Read my full review of the book here! Spoiler Free!

I loved Cora Cormack's [b:Losing It|16034964|Losing It (Losing It, #1)|Cora Carmack|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348459319s/16034964.jpg|21807237] Trilogy and when I read the synopsis for All Lined Up, I knew I had to read it!

This book really reminded me of Losing It in the sense that they both follow a similar set up for the plot, but I think that All Lined Up shows more relationship development than Losing It did.

What I really love about Cora Cormack's New Adult reads is that each lead character develops independently throughout the novel. They don't become this person who relies so much on their significant other that it gets to the point of becoming nauseating to me. This book is just as much a coming of age novel as it is a romance.

I found All Lined Up to be a super quick and fun read. I loved the chemistry between Dallas and Carson and I loved them individually. Dallas was a smart heroine who also had her funny moments as well. I really loved that she didn't create senseless drama by jumping to conclusions and actually thought about things before acting. They were both very real characters and I think that most readers can identify in some capacity to each other them one way or another.

Overall: The only thing really lacking for me was a dramatic plot line--and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think I was just expecting more drama based on the assumptions I drew from the synopsis. Instead, this book focuses on the growth of the characters instead of petty drama which is rather refreshing when I look back on it.
