Am sitting here trying to put into words all the great things about this book without spoiling it. Trust me you don't want this book spoiled for you. You want to read every word and savor it. It is beautifully written and the perfect story for Teague. We knew it would take a special woman to get his attention and you won't be disappointed! I absolutely recommend this book for all readers 18 . ( )

Sometimes what goes on in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas...

Celebrating his sister's wedding, Teague and the guys spend a memorable night in Vegas. As Teague wakes up the next morning and counts how many condoms he used the night before, he is surprised to realize he does not remember much except brief recollections of what must have been unforgettable. Let's face it, he is always in control and he is a lawyer! He will not soon forget the gorgeous creature lounging on his bed.

Risa is a Vegas showgirl. No stripping, just dancing in the show! She has scratched her way out of homelessness. She respects herself and what she did last night is not her norm. What started as a debt being paid ended up being a night she will not soon forget. This man is everything a girl could hope for... but for someone like her, unable to attain.

This story evolves with plot twists and secrets that cannot be kept from being shared. Risa and Teague are thrown together to prevent the destruction of Teague's reputation and dreams for his future. The chemistry between them is undeniable. They are an explosion waiting to happen! Needless to say, the bad guys are drooling to control Teague. He is a strong candidate for future President and with that comes power all want to control.

I found this story both enjoyable and extremely romantic. Risa and Teague are a couple that Fate has brought together and by all means should stay together. This is one of those times where you will be cheering to make sure what goes on in Vegas has a permanent place in Risa and Teague's life.

Wow--this was another don't-want-to-put-it-down read. Thank goodness for the Polar Vortex and blizzards; because of them I didn't have to!

The chemistry between Teague and Risa is absolutely undeniable--Robin Covington wrote some really smoking scenes for them. I was rooting for them from the beginning--all the secrets and things they kept hidden from each other for much of the novel were nerve-racking (but of course made for excellent plot, darn it).

My biggest concern was how they would manage to put Risa's betrayal in the past and move on, but fortunately Robin handled this well. It definitely helped that Risa had definite reasons for what she did--and that Teague was in a position to understand her reasons objectively.

Plus, it didn't hurt that he was crazy about her. ;)

Some of the finer points of the Las Vegas/mobster plot sailed neatly right over my head--but I'm pretty sure that's just because I was reading very quickly so as to get to the HEA. I loved Risa's business (and how it took over their wedding "reception"; that part was just too funny) and her determination to stand up for herself no matter what.

(Teague's not too bad either. Especially if you picture Jensen Ackles while you're reading...)

This is the third book in the series. I have yet to read the first two books, though they're in my TBR. Sweet Southern Betrayal can be read as a standalone--but of course now I am *dying* to read the first two. It's my goal to accomplish that before Beck's story comes out, at least!

This was just a great read from start to finish. I cannot wait to get to the other books in the series.

A- rating; 4 1/2 stars.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. ( )

First things first... when you read this book, make sure you have a stand or someone else to hold it for you, because you are going to need to be able to fan yourself! It was HOT!!!! I loved the story line, but the characters are probably the best couple I have read in a very long time. There was just something about them and their chemistry together that made their passion just sizzle right off the page. I will definitely be looking into more books by Robin and can't wait to see what else she has in store for us with this series. I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This is the third novel of Ms. Covington's series, The Boys are Back in Town. It is based on four best friends since childhood, returning to their hometown of Elliott, Virginia and how it effects their lives. Both Jackson and Lucky have found love and a family. Beck is a physician, and Teague an attorney with aspirations of politics. He is on the verge of becoming a partner in a prestigious law firm in D.C. the start of his road to the presidency.

A surprising thing happened. I didn't like Teague within the first chapter. He was totally selfish, power hungry and arrogant. He is actually two different men, the lawyer in Elliott picking up the pieces of his Dad's practice, and the attorney in the law firm in D.C. A trip to Las Vegas with the Boys to celebrate Lucky and Taylor's ( Teague's sister) wedding turns his life in a direction he never thought possible.

Risa Clay is a professional dancer and owner of Behind Closed Doors, a shop selling marital aids, and sexy lingerie. She is in debt for a large amount of money to the owner of the casino Antonio Gambetti known as "Big Tony." He wants her to do him a favor. Something completely out of her comfort zone. She is sickened by it, but sees no other choice.

By the second or third chapter Teague was redeeming himself, acting almost like a nice guy! Risa is amazing. Growing up in the foster care system, she is determined to live her life on her own terms. Making some wrong decisions, but trying her best to fix them. One of my favorite quotes from Risa is when she is talking to one of Big Tony's henchman, "Eyes up Frank, last time I looked the girls don't talk."

Ms. Covington's descriptions of the monuments, and Washington, D.C. were breathtaking. I lived in Northern Virginia for many years, and the tour Teague gave Risa of the Jefferson Memorial at night brought back so many wonderful memories. It turns out, Teague is a sweet, misguided, very loving man. He just needed someone to show him he could be.

I highly recommend this novel, the twists and turns, surprises and laughter made this an enjoyable read for me, and turned me into a loyal Teague fan. Beck seems to be the only friend left without a story. Hoping we have his soon!

I received this ARC from the publisher for an honest review.
