Grant is a well known playboy in Rosemary Beach but is determined to change his ways if he is allowed a shot with Harlow. But that might not be so easy. When Harlow see's Grant all she see's is her half-sister Nan. Harlow refuses to be anybody's second choice. She finds it extremely hard to not fall for his charming ways. But when surprising secrets are revealed will they fight for their new found love or just give up? I love Abbi Glines books, and I was eagerly awaiting the release. My only issue was that it just ended. Talk about a Cliffhanger!! ( )

I hate Grant. I think I might hate him more than I hated Rush. Thats a lot of hate. And I gobbled this book up in one night! I stayed up WAY too late! ( )

I've been dying to read Grant's story since we were first introduced to him in [b:Fallen too Far|16070903|Fallen Too Far (Too Far, #1)|Abbi Glines|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1349565157s/16070903.jpg|21864517]. When I read that he was going to get his own spin-off series I was really excited to read it. I thought he was going to end up with Nan but with the way the rest of the series progressed I'm glad that wasn't the case; I really liked Harlow's character the moment we were introduced to her.

I liked that the mystery of Harlow and Grant's previous interaction--alluded to in the other books--wasn't revealed right away in this one. I liked the flashbacks to the past and seeing how they were going to move forward. I felt like things moved too quickly between Harlow and Grant but it wasn't really any different when you compare the relationships in the previous books and I even think that they had more social interaction than the other two relationships so I really liked that. I really liked them together and they are probably my favourite couple in the Rosemary Beach series.

This book was definitely higher in terms of drama considering what happened at the end of [b:Simple Perfection|17449417|Simple Perfection (Perfection, #2)|Abbi Glines|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1415743194s/17449417.jpg|24333997] (Rosemary Beach #5) plus Harlow's life. I felt like it balanced well with their relationship: I didn't feel overwhelmed by sappy-sweet moments but I definitely got all that I wanted plus some interesting drama. After reading [b:Rush too Far|18211536|Rush Too Far (Too Far, #4)|Abbi Glines|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1393569509s/18211536.jpg|25633433] (where it was too over the top romance moments for me) I really appreciated the balance we get here.

I'm not a fan of how it ended--it felt a little rushed to me but that just means I am dying to get my hands on One More Chance!

Overall: Fans of the Rosemary Beach series will devour this! A great blend of romance and drama! New adult as its finest :)

Wow!

I do not know what to think about this story but, I think I am ready for the ride with Harlow and Grant.

Harlow is amazing and holds her own against the biotch we all know and hate Nan. Grant finally thinks he knows what it feels like to love he just does not know what to do about it.

There were two secrets in this book.. and both were well awkward if that is a way to even describe my feelings about them. I do have to say that the first one was okay and I could live with that one but the second one reminded me too much of Jace and Bethy and I wonder why Abbi feels the need to take my heart and crunch it into two. I have to say that I loved the book and I am ready for the ride with Grant and Harlow I am just not sure that I can take something that will make my heart wretch.

Hopefully we will find out that it is all over with and NEVER have to hear about it again. I am not sure though so I guess I will go along for this ride. ( )
