Gettysburg is a basic souvenir photo book with the most important item included – The Gettysburg Address. I’m pretty sure I’m writing a review to a photo book just so I can type up this famous speech and call it a quote. Seriously, it’s Gettysburg – one of the most important battle sites on American soil that defined our past, our present, and our future. As we continue to address equal rights for more of our population, I find it important to look back into history and remember how this country is founded and the blood shed for it. The purpose and reasons may be different, but the principle of freedom and equality remains. In this book, we see the various state monuments that commemorated their sons lost on these grounds, the types of artillery used, and the uniforms of both sides. Honestly, only a basic photo book but worth owning nonetheless.
