Watch the classic story by James Thurber, about a daydreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance, and action. I first found out about this story because of the movie trailer. The trailer didn't catch my interest much at all, but I saw the audiobook was free, and grabbed it. I haven't read any Thurber before, but again, it's a free chance to check out his writing.
I really enjoyed this story and Walter's character. He's a daydreamer, like many of us are, even though it gets in the way of his everyday activities. This might be not be a lengthy story, but it's entertaining and some great writing.
I was also pleased with Stiller's narration. I'm not too keen on him as an actor, but he came through as a narrator for this audiobook. ( )
