Jess is drawn further into the mystery at the "body farm" as it becomes more and more possible that not only the killer Eric Spears but also her own family may be connected to the family of murderers that had been operating there for years.

This series is just so good. I really like the characters although Jess still seems to think she is the only one who can solve this crime. And there is so much going on both in the police department and their personal lives that I just love reading them. The writing is not remarkable. It is the stories that keep me going. Already started the next one. (
