I would recommend this book to young readers for many reasons. First of all, this book is very fun, appealing, and engaging. I liked how this book contained many literary elements such as: rhyming, alliteration, repetition, and onomatopoeia. An example of rhyme is "yuck" and "stuck." An example of alliteration is "Stomping, shouting fooey shrew." An example of onomatopoeia is "splat!" Another reason I enjoyed reading this book was because of its creative variations in size, style, and placement of text. By doing this, it adds visual excitement. Moreover, I liked the bold colored acrylic-and-fabric collage illustrations which is very appealing to young children. The bid idea of this book is to teach children about rhyming. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
