A continuation of an earlier story. Maisie the highly educated young woman continues to work in her aunt's bookstore. Considering she was there because her aunt was "away", and the story opens with her returning, the amount of time in-between the two stories is likely less in story time, than in real world time.

The older couple continue to find fun standing aroud asking Maisie to get huge weighty books from the tallest shelves. While wearing super short skirts/dresses.

Though that type of activity abruptly halts when the aunt suddenly returns. Maisie fears will have to head back to her boring live, away from her blossoming, embarrasing carreer of finding it hard to keep her clothing on. Yet, before "the talk" can occur, the aunt has a friend burst in all panic-y like.

That friend owns an erotica bookstore. Has gone into the publishing business. First book is by some old guy who used to be famous, at least in erotica, but hasn't been in a long time. Unfortunately for all involved, he still hasn't been able to get back to writing, so the book being published is a reprint.

Feeling all nervous and stuff, the aunt's friend, and I shoud probably go ahead and call her Miss Tweedle so I can stop saying "the aunt's friend" . . .. So, right, Miss Tweedle asks her friend, Barbara (or auntie Barbara) for the use of her helper. In other words, Maisie. Relatively quickly it unfolds that Maisie actions, wearing short clothing, flirting with the customers, etc., has really driven up sales. And she'd be an asset to the book launch.

So. Book launches. Old french couple. Man gives talk on writing erotica. Wife stands in the wings. Maisie stands there in a bikini. And is talked into removing said bikini. In front of the sold out crowd (not really sure what was meant by that; since when do book talks at bookstores cost money to the attendees? Talks elswhere, sure, but . . ..).

That section, the part where the Jean-Louis character was giving his erotica writing talk, and having his words caressing Maisie, and talking Maisie into pulling her top, then bottoms off . . . that section was certainly interesting.

Maisie is constantly being "taken advantage of", and later admits to being turned on by being taken advantage of. Ending up being a bikini model at a book talk, then a nude model at same book talk, then a naked "art" display in the window of a bookstore to try to help drive up visitors to the book signing, to being roped into a date with a woman without first giving her consent, to acting as a muse for Jean-Louis . . ..

Um. The whole "man having only recently meet, but never dated or anything, but who you fuck upon the first real chance of talking with" scene was . . . off-putting.

And then the constant "oopsie, parts of my body are accidentally exposed" as she's going about her day . . . also off-putting. More because that isn't what these stories have been about. But, meh.

Strange. The first story had a bunch of stuff going on with different people. Second story . . . well, bunch of stuff, but mostly with the same people. ( )
