Brandon Webb has always been a athletic kid. When he was a kid, he was involved in 6 different sporting activities. When he was about ten, his family fell on some hard times and Brandon had to stop doing sports. Later Brandon worked on a ship for a summer and learned a lot from the ship's captain. When he was seventeen, his family sailed around the world, that is when he was kicked off the boat by his dad but then continued to work at his old summer jobs. Eventually he joins the Navy Seals program, there his limits are tested to the max and later earns the respect of his teacher. After graduation, Brandon and a friend are asked to do the sniper course for the Navy Seals. That training is much more grueling than the regular Navy Seal program. When he graduates from that course, he is sent to Afghanistan. There he faces the most dangerous group in the world. Only his training can help him survive this area of the world.

This book was not my favorite book to read. There was no real interesting point in the book for me. All the book talked about how the training was. There was only a little action at the end. Other then that there was no page turning excitement in the book. I wouldn't recommend this book to a lot of people. The only people I would recommend this book to is people that like this kind of books. ( )

Very inspiriting story about a young man setting personal goals for himself and achieving them. Would make a good gift for a teenage boy. ( )

Brandon Webb shares his experiences of his early life, SEAL training and experiences as a U.S. Navy SEAL. Quick read enjoyable read with exceptionally short chapters. Not too heavy on mission details.

I won this book via a Goodreads giveaway. ( )

I liked this book about a man's journey to become a Navy SEAL. He gives a lot of background information about how he started on his path and goes into great detail about the training that he went through. He also goes on to tell about some of his missions. It was an interesting read. ( )
