Well, that's not the case here. This book has me from the very beginning. I enjoyed the ride these characters took me on. Not only did we get up, close and personal with Jeremy and Cheyenne, but we got more pieces to the ever building puzzle in the Mancuzzo drama. Jeremy's determination in being patched and Cheyenne's determination to be in Jeremy's life, even if it is forbidden, definitely makes for an interesting story. I couldn't put this one down! There were parts where I absolutely loved Jeremy.... Then there were parts, not so much. But that was the point, right? The story can't be all unicorns and rainbows.
