A SEAL'S SACRIFICE is a great quick read about a second chance at love. I have to say I adored this story and these characters. The fact that Noah has finally realized what's most important, and that Gwen knows who she is and what she's unwilling to accept. Two very strong characters who finally figure it out. I loved watching the heat between these two, their story will have you eager to see them again in another book! This is one those stay up all night reading stories that you'll be thrilled you read. I highly recommend A SEAL'S SACRIFICE to all fans of great romances! ( )

Gwen Kirkpatrick loved, and may still love, Noah Riker. When Noah’s brother (Sam) has a New Year’s Eve engagement party Noah has to attend to see for himself if Gwen is really going to become engaged to someone else. What happens at the party is steamy and opens up a can of worms that may or may not lead to a HEA for Gwen and Noah.

I liked this book. I can understand why a SEAL might not want to be distracted on missions BUT have trouble believing grown men would honor a vow made as teens without really thinking things through. That said – what a steamy and fun read this novella was ;)

I'm not usually a fan of novellas because the short length makes character development difficult. Tawny Weber avoids this problem by using characters from previous works. I was familiar with Noah and his hang ups before I started to read A SEAL's Sacrifice. Weber centers the story around one New Year's Eve party. The story has depth because the focus is on one event. All in all, the story was strong with a focused plot and characters the reader was already partially invested in. ( )
